WHAT TO DO
With more than 60 islands to choose from, the possibilities for finding something interesting to do are endless. Even if you limit yourself to one or two islands during your stay, the activities can range from relaxing in a hammock by the beach to hiking up a mountain trail. Here are some of the many things you can do topside when you're visiting BVI:

Sailing and Boating
With constant trade winds and fair skies most of the time, the British Virgin Islands are a sailor's dream. Another fun fact is that because the islands are so close together, the shorelines are visible to the naked eye – making sailing throughout the 60-odd islands easy and stress-free. Pull into one of the many uninhabited cays for a relaxing afternoon of beachcombing or island-hop for dinner.

Spas
Why not make your vacation a truly relaxing, stress-free holiday? Take a day off from your vacation to experience the deep restorative pleasures of one of the many BVI spas and wellness centers. Lucky for you, there are many to choose from!

Beaches
With so many islands to explore, it's no wonder there is a beach to suit every fantasy. From long stretches of secluded white-sand to more rugged beaches known for catching a few good waves, everyone will have a favorite. Many beaches also offer amazing snorkeling and calm, sheltered waters. Some beaches also offer camping and places for a leisurely picnic.

Historic Sites
BVI is ripe with historical venues for the history buff in your group. From forts to museums to ruins, there's an interesting back-story to many buildings and national parks throughout the islands. Or, you could take a tour of one of the original rum distilleries, the Coppermine ruins or one of the former sugar plantations.

Water Sports
If you crave the wave, or more intense water sports, you won't be disappointed. Try something different and go surfing, parasailing, windsurfing, ocean kayaking, powerboating and more. Many water sports operators also offer fishing excursions as well as equipment rentals.

Nature
The islands are dependent upon their natural treasures, and preserving them is paramount. It's no wonder the BVIs contain approximately 28 parks. Since the islands are so diverse, each one seems to have its own climate and ecological riches – from amazingly pristine underwater parks to tropical forests and archeologically-important historic sites.
