Enjoy a live aboard diving vacation in the Florida Keys aboard the schooner CONCH PEARL. Up to ten guests can join us, husband and wife team Denny Webb and Holley Whitley, aboard our custom 60ft schooner for a week of diving and sailing. Our adventure is unique and slow paced, truly the best way to enjoy the Keys waters.
Diving is tailored to the desires and abilities of our guests. Typically we schedule at least three dives a day, which include reef, wreck and night dives. The Florida keys have beautiful coral reef tracts and their proximity to centuries old shipping routes have resulted in an abundance of shipwrecks and artifacts—making for great dive sites. Sites we dive include Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary, Sombrero Reef Lighthouse, Sand Key Lighthouse and many well established wrecks including the Cayman Salvage Master, Adolphus Busch, and Joe’s Tug. We sail between dive sites and nights are spent in cozy anchorages. We keep our itinerary flexible because it is based on the weather pattern during your cruise—and Mother Nature is always in control.
Our boat is staffed with a USCG licensed captain, a PADI divemaster and a mate. A scuba instructor can be booked if guests request certification or continuing education. An onboard diesel air compressor provides tank fills and a custom dive ladder make for easy exits from the water. The Conch Pearl is a ruggedly built traditional steel schooner. Below decks are tidy and cozy, with a rustic charm. So bring along dive buddies you like in close quarters (and vice versa). Bookings are made for the entire boat, so you won’t share your adventure with people you don’t know.
Plan a getaway diving and sailing with us. Spring and Fall are great seasons to dive. Late October is particularly good to charter for Fantasy Fest, the Key West version of Mardi Gras. Call us for booking info or questions on the adventure. Holley at 305-849-7561 or Denny at 305-849-7562. And visit our website www.SchoonerConchPearl.com for more details and pictures.
