The recently-introduced SCUBAPRO MK17 first stage has met with immediate enthusiasm by divers all over the country. Referred to internally as “the ice breaker”, this unique component features a compact balanced-diaphragm first stage, a new internal mechanism, and a dry ambient chamber system that ensures excellent performance and cold water resilience. Initial field reports from divers and the diving press have been excellent, and the MK17 is fast developing a reputation as an excellent choice for traveling divers who do not wish to be restricted by the temperature of the waters they dive. Matched with the SCUBAPRO X650, S600, S555 or R295 second stages, the MK17 has created a new level of high performance for a broad spectrum of diving conditions.
